Fun for anyone. Can be made as a simple service project for nursery or other child care. Also good for reusing lesson.
*items needed
-broken peeled crayons
-cupcake tin
-cooking spray
-wax paper
*To do
-spray cupcake tin with cooking spray
-place peeled and broken crayons into the cupcake tin
-melt in oven at 275 for 4min
-take out and stir place back in oven for 3 more minutes
-place in freezer till hard about 5min
-pop out new crayons unto wax paper. Tap on back to get them out
You now have new fat crayons for little kids, made from old broken crayons :) you have reused and helped kids
I love this idea, I can't wait to make it for Jeremiah! One question... how long after taking out of the oven do you usually wait to put it in the freezer?
ReplyDeleteYou can usually put it right in. Make sure you stir well or the color and wax will seperate and it will be like trying to color with a candle.
